Applesauce Clearfield Farm Style

8-10 medium apples

Cored and peeled only if you don’t like skins

1 1/2 cups of sugar ( add 3/4 cup of brown sugar in place of 3/4 cup of white sugar)

1 Tbls cinnamon

2 tsp cloves

1 tsp nutmeg

Fill pan with the apples. Add enough water to equal 2 inches on the bottom of the pan. Ad spices and sugar. Boil slowly to desired consistency. Add water if not runny enough.
