Asparagus Quiche

9 inch pastry Shell

4-5 Slices of bacon

2 cups of cooked Asparagus, 1 inch cuts

1 Cup of Shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese

1 Cup light cream or 1/2 & 1/2

3 Eggs Slightly Beaten

1 teaspoon tarragon

1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Dash of pepper

Prick pastry shell with fork and bake in preheated oven of 450 for 7 minutes; cool. Crumble bacon in shell. Add bacon and Asparagus. In bowl mix cream eggs and seasonings and cheese. Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes or until set.
