bacon dressing
1/2 pound of bacon 1/4 packet of Good Seasonings Italian Salad seasoning 1/4 cup apple cider or red wine vinegar.
Fry bacon and set aside, reserving bacon grease. Keep grease on low to keep just barely warm. Tear bacon into bite size chunks. Pour 1/2 packet of salad seasoning into small bowl. Add 1/4 cup of warm bacon fat. Mix well slowly add 1/4 cup of vinegar. This may spatter so be careful.
This is great with spinach and mandarin oranges added to the salad.
