Sweet Potato Biscuits

3/4 cup mashed sweet potatoes

1/4 cup of milk

1/2 stick of butter

1 1/4 cup of flour

4 Tablespoons baking powder

2 heaping tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Heat oven to 450. Combine potatoes, milk and butter. In another bowl combine sifted flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add to potato mixture to make a soft dough. Turn dough onto a floured surface and toss until dough looks smooth. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thick and cut with a cutter. Place biscuits on lightly greased pan and bake for 15 minutes.
